Granny bag

Here's a crochet project I finished for my friend's birthday. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to line the inside, so at some point, I will be taking it back from her so that I can finish that. Darn time constraints!

Anyways, it's basically two large granny squares sewn together. And everyone's favorite crochet pattern.

Super Dork!

So...wasn't doing so well with the keeping up with the posting thing. Well, I will try to be better about it. And I want to use this blog as a creative outlet, so I will dedicate this to illustrations, photos and other projects as well.

Anyways, the further I got along in this project, the more I realized that, yes, indeed, I was making up my own crochet pattern to crochet a Yoda. When I'm sitting around trying to crochet a Queen Amydala headress, that's when you need to worry.

The start of a blog

I started crocheting about four years ago. My mother started to teach me how to do it when I was young. Back then, I didn't understand the endless possibilities and didn't take interest in it. Now, it's a great hobby of mine and if my mom were around, I think she would be happy to know that I gave it another go and really enjoy it now. I DON'T think she would enjoy the amount of yarn I keep in the house. Boy did she hate clutter!

I decided to dedicate this blog to pictures of my personal arts and crafts that I have been working on and links to artsy little things. Hope you enjoy!
